Nanjing Central Hotel, Nanjing (Jiangsu)

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were in pretty good condition, not large but adequate for our needs. However, the lower floors rooms with balcony facing the internal atrium lack privacy overlooking the cafe shop area. The service was excellent, with the cleaning staff being competent, friendly, and helpful in various aspects. The location was bright and attractive, offering easy access to the metro lines and nearby shopping malls. The dining experience was enjoyable, with an extensive menu that catered to European and Chinese tastes.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The rooms are nicely renovated with very comfortable beds and modern furniture, but the low ceilings and artificial light coming in from the balcony overlooking the breakfast area made it a bit claustrophobic. The service was exceptional, with staff being kind and helpful, although the lack of backup electricity generator was a concern. The location is excellent, right in the city center, walking distance to many attractions. The dining options are extensive, offering both European and Chinese cuisine, but there are cheaper local food options nearby. Overall, it's a decent choice with some room for improvement.
